Jackie Brown Promo Video Coming Soon!

The last couple of months has seen The Rimes hard at work writing new material and perfecting our setlist for our upcoming gigs this summer, which includes Champions in Bournemouth, a date at Morton Stanley Park Festival in Redditch and a big headline show at The Slade Rooms in our hometown, Wolverhampton. We have been working on one track in particular which will be a highlight of the latter mentioned gig. It is currently titled ‘Last Train Home’ and has a train-like rhythm which inspired the lyrics and title. We have been constructing a long, built-up breakdown which builds tension for the end of the song and we have spent much time trying get that just right to make it perfect for future shows.

In additon to all this, we’re pleased to say that last weekend we finished shooting the promotional video for our first single Jackie Brown. We shot the video in several locations around Manchester, including a snooker hall, a gig venue and several shopping locations within the city. The video will also feature scenes with actresses and actors who play the part of the stereotype of ‘Jackie Brown’ and the guys who fancy their chances with them respectively. We all had great fun making what will be the visual representation of our track and we look forward to its release. Keep an eye out for more news regarding the video in July.
